Case Study
Full main-floor engineered oak installation with substrate preparation and continuous transitions.
- Challenge
- The existing substrate had noticeable deviation across the main floor, and the previous installation had begun to gap.
- Approach
- Preparation was treated as the main body of work: removal, cleaning and correction before a single plank was laid.
- Execution
- Layout was set from the longest sightline so the plank direction carried through the open plan without an awkward break.
- Result
- A quiet, continuous floor that reads as one surface across the level.
Before / After
