Floor Leveling and Subfloor Preparation
- Service
- Flooring
- Location
- On request
- Scope
- Existing floor surveyed for high and low spots · Surface prepped and primed · Levelling compound applied and screeded · Surface cured flat and ready for finish flooring
Case Study
A leveling service correcting dips, slopes and uneven areas to leave a flat, ready-to-finish subfloor.
- Challenge
- Any dip or slope in a subfloor telegraphs straight through the finished floor laid over it, so the base has to be made flat before anything goes down.
- Approach
- The floor was surveyed for high and low spots so the correction could be targeted rather than applied blanket across the room.
- Execution
- High and low spots were mapped, the surface prepped and primed, levelling compound applied and screeded, then left to cure flat and ready for finish flooring.
- Result
- A flat, primed subfloor cured and ready to take a finished floor.
